Robert Brownstein is the managing partner of Robert Brownstein & Associates LLC. He was most recently vice president of intellectual property at LitePoint Corporation for six years, a wholly owned subsidiary of Teradyne. While there, he prepared, and managed the prosecution of, more than 125 utility patent applications.
Brownstein is a registered patent practitioner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His registration number is 68040. His expertise includes: wireless communications, semiconductors, and networks. Rob manages all engagements with the firm and personally prepares all drawings, disclosures and claims for utility patent applications in his areas of expertise. For other art areas, he manages the work of his associates who have comparable experience in those art areas.
Brownstein has a bachelor's degree in physics from Queens College, City University of New York, and did graduate studies in electrical engineering at San Diego State University. He has also worked as a journalist for electronic trade publications (EE Times and McGraw-Hill's Electronics), a marketing specialist, and has authored several books published by McGraw-Hill..
